The attorneys of SAYENKO KHARENKO actively participate in major social events related to the improvement of legal culture in Ukraine. Some of the attorneys have been substantially contributing to the drafting process of vital corporate and securities legislation for the Parliament of Ukraine and Ukrainian regulators.

A particular attention is addressed to training and raising professional skills of law students. Many of the senior attorneys of the firm lecture in leading Ukrainian law schools and conduct trainings for practitioners. As arbitrators at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, attorneys of SAYENKO KHARENKO have been assisting for a long time with coaching the Kyiv Taras Schevchenko University moot teams.

SOCIAL CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

SAYENKO KHARENKO supported the Third International Festival “Virtuosos of the Planet” held from September 24 - 26 in the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. Eight top-prize winners of international music competitions from Venezuela, Russia, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic and Japan accompanied by the country’s best orchestras amazingly performed the most sophisticated pieces of classical music.

The Ukrainian audience was privileged to hear music by Ludwig Van Beethoven, Paul Hindemith, Edward Elgar, Albert Zahel, Francis Poulene, Dmitry Shostakovich and Anri Tomasi (the pieces of this composer have never before been played in Ukraine).
