Michael Kharenko is a partner focusing on cross-border corporate transactions and international financings. Michael has worked on a wide range of major private and public securities offerings, syndications and secured finance transactions in Ukraine representing leading investment banks, multinational financial institutions, and corporates.

Michael Kharenko has been named No.1 lawyer for Ukraine in banking, international finance and securities by Ukrainian Law Firms 2010 directory, top tier finance lawyer for Ukraine by all major international directories including The Legal 500, Chambers Global, IFLR 1000, PLC Which Lawyer?. Michael lectured banking and tax law at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University Law School. He served as an advisor to the Chairman of the State Commission on Securities and Stock Market of Ukraine. He has also been engaged as an arbitrator at the Willem Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, for a number of years.
