Vladimir Sayenko specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate, competition and securities law. He has advised extensively in the financial, energy, oil & gas, real estate and media sectors and litigated numerous investment, corporate and property disputes in Ukrainian courts and international arbitration tribunals.
Mr. Sayenko has been named the ‘Best Competition Lawyer’ in Ukraine by Ukrainian Legal Awards 2007, conducted by Yuridicheskaya Practika; named ¹1 M&A lawyer in Ukraine and among the country’s top five lawyers in antitrust and corporate law by Ukrainian Law Firms 2010; recommended for Ukraine by all major international rankings including The Legal 500, Chambers Global, PLC Which Lawyer?, IFLR 1000.
Vladimir's experience includes running the Kiev office of a leading western law firm operating in Ukraine, where he represented major multinational corporations, financial institutions, and other investors for more than ten years. For a number of years Vladimir acted as an advisor to the Ukrainian Parliamentary Committee on the Freedom of Speech and Information.
